Camden County closes offices and college campuses due to winter storm

Due to a severe winter storm affecting Southern New Jersey, all Camden County offices will be closed to the public on Monday, January 26. In addition, Camden County College has canceled all in-person classes, activities, and student services at every campus and instructional location for that day. Online courses will proceed as scheduled. All branches of the Camden County Library system will also be closed on Monday.

Essential personnel from Camden County are expected to report for work as usual.

Camden County provides a variety of public services such as safety, health support, parks and recreation programs, and infrastructure maintenance across its 37 municipalities through a seven-member Board of Commissioners. The county also supports education initiatives and maintains facilities including libraries and parks to benefit over 500,000 residents in southern New Jersey. Community cleanup held at Pyne Poynt Park for Earth Day and Camden Strong campaign launch

Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr., Mayor Victor Carstarphen and Subaru led an Earth Day cleanup at Pyne Poynt Park while launching this year’s Camden Strong-Clean Camden Campaign. Community groups participated in efforts that will continue through spring and summer with multiple neighborhood cleanups planned.
