On Monday, April 14, former Gloucester County Institute of Technology standout Alex Lowry’s current college team, the Goldey-Beacom Lightning, won 5-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Bridgeport Purple Knights.
The game took place at Jackson Athletic Complex. This was their second matchup against the Purple Knights this season.
The Lightning’s next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 16 at 2 p.m. at Bensalem High School against Holy Family Tigers.
