Inspira Health recently announced significant leadership changes and new appointments to its Network and Hospital Boards of Trustees. The changes, which received unanimous approval, took place at meetings held in April.

Dawn Flitcraft, based in Monroeville, NJ, is the new Chair of the Inspira Health Network Board. Previously the Chair of the Hospital Board, Flitcraft will remain a trustee on the Hospital Board. “It is an honor to take on the role of Chair,” said Flitcraft. She acknowledged Betsy Ryan for her previous leadership and looks forward to shaping the future of healthcare in South Jersey.

Jeff George from Mullica Hill has been appointed as Vice Chair of the Network Board and Chair of the Hospital Board. George, Managing Director at the George Wealth Management Group at Merrill Lynch, has been a member of Inspira’s Network Board for the past three years. George stated, “I am excited to further contribute to Inspira’s mission of providing quality health care services across South Jersey.”

Toni Pergolin, from Cherry Hill, NJ, has been named Secretary of the Network Board. Pergolin has been involved with the board since 2021 and has a long tenure as president and CEO of Bancroft, a regional nonprofit organization.

Karen Albanese has been appointed Treasurer of the Network Board. Albanese, a controller at Konrad Companies, joined the board in 2023.

The Network Board also introduced four new trustees: Lovepreet Buttar, Mark Cartella, Brent “Bubba” Schomber, and Melissa Smith. Each brings a wealth of experience in their respective fields, from financial leadership and project management to operational expertise and business strategy.

Inspiration for these changes comes alongside the legacy left by Michael McLaughlin and Ron Rossi. Both served for over 64 years in various leadership capacities, notably during the merger that created Inspira in 2012. “We are elated to welcome new members,” remarked Amy Mansue, President and CEO of Inspira Health, while expressing gratitude to McLaughlin and Rossi for their dedication.
