On Saturday, April 5, former Kingsway Regional High School standout Josh Herner’s current college team, the Averett Cougars, won 13-4 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Virginia Wesleyan Marlins.

The game took place at Kenneth R. Perry Field. This was their second matchup against the Marlins this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 8 at 6 p.m. at Salem Memorial Ballpark against Roanoke Maroons.
