73 percent of applicants to Rowan University were admitted for fall 2018

At Rowan University, 88 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 55 percent are male, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Glassboro enrolled 19,465 students in fall 2018, including 16,120 in undergraduate and 3,345 in graduate programs, data shows. 12.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

95 percent of undergraduates are residents of New Jersey, and 3 percent are residents of other states. 1 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (66 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (11 percent).

The school admitted 73 percent of the 14,221 students who applied for fall 2018. Of those who were admitted, 26 percent enrolled.
