Gloucester Today

Director Frank J. DiMarco, Commissioner Denice DiCarlo, Liaison Gloucester County Veterans Affairs, along with Bob Jonas, Director of Gloucester County Veterans Affairs, and Lieutenant Col. Lois Halleck, presented Peg Lotus, the wife of deceased Veteran John Lotus who served in the United States Air Force with his Federal Medals at the monthly meeting of the Military support Group. 

Mr. Loftus was a Veteran of the United States Air Force.  He served in the Vietnam  War with the rank of Tech Sergeant.  His Decorations and Citations: The Air Medal with One Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster, the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award Ribbon, the Air Force Combat Readiness Medal, the Air Force Good Conduct Medal with One Silver Oak Leaf Cluster, the Army Good Conduct Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, the Air Force Overseas Service Long Tour Ribbon, the Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with Four Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, The Air Force Small Arms Expert Ribbon, the Vietnam Gallantry Cross Medal with Palm, and the Chief  Enlisted Air Crew Badge.
