As part of the state aid funded LBFN Bridge Repair Project, Bridge 5-J-10 on East Holly Avenue in Washington Township over Porch Branch is being repaired. The repairs include installing two new 100” smooth walled diameter pipe liners inside each of the two existing corrugated metal pipes and then grouting between the pipes to fill the voids. Repairs of the cracked and spalled concrete on the abutment and wing walls has also been completed. The wing walls that had severe delamination were coated with pneumatically applied mortar. New caps to the abutment walls were installed. The storm system associated with the bridge structure is also scheduled to be cleaned and repaired. Roughly 12 SY of riprap slope protection will be installed to eliminate erosion issues.
