Mayor Gattinelli and Township Council proudly honored three special Washington Township residents during Wednesday night's council meeting.

- Chief Gurcsik, Mayor Gattinelli and Township Council presented the 2022 Officer of the Year award to Detective Tommy Myers of the Washington Township Police Department. 

- Yashahya Brown of the Washington Township High School Track Program was presented a Certificate of Achievement by Mayor Gattinelli and Township Council for recently breaking the record for Indoor 55 Meter Hurdle. Congratulations Yashahya, Mayor Gattinelli and Council cannot wait to see what else you accomplish!

- Paul Dilks was recognized by Mayor Gattinelli and Council for his bountiful community service in Washington Township. Mr. Dilks and his The Kathy MeGee Memorial Holiday Meals Program team volunteer their time on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter to ensure families in need have warm meals on these special holidays.
