Gloucester County highway crews were performing various maintenance work this past week.
The first picture is of our vac truck cleaning an inlet, and jetting a storm pipe crossing under CR 538 Coles Mill Road in Monroe Township.
The other three pictures are of an inlet that our crew constructed at the intersection of CR 608 Clayton Avenue and 32nd Avenue in Elk Township.
This inlet is a dry well inlet that helps surface water runoff drain into the existing sandy soils and clean stone under the inlet.
If you see an issue on a County roadway, Deputy Director Heather Simmons, liaison to the Department of Public works, asks you to report it by emailing publicworks@co.gloucester.nj.us or calling us 856-307-6400.
