March is National Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. Commissioner Jim Jefferson reminds everyone to stay on track of their health with regular doctors visits and screenings. Excluding skin cancer, colorectal cancer is the third most common cancer diagnosed in both men and women in the United States. Locally, Penn Medicine/Virtua Health’s Cancer Program- with locations in Voorhees and Sewell - offers the most advanced cancer care. The comprehensive program includes advanced diagnostic procedures, state-of-the-art cancer treatments, robotic-assisted colorectal surgery, and personalized cancer support.
