Inspira Health has marked a significant milestone in the expansion of its Medical Center in Mullica Hill with a topping-off ceremony. The event included a beam signing and remarks from Inspira leadership and elected officials, highlighting the progress of the 168,000-square-foot addition to the campus.

The expansion project began in September 2024 and features a new five-story wing spanning 150,000 square feet. It also includes renovations to existing spaces and additional parking facilities. This development aims to enhance services such as Oncology, Neurology, and Cardiology at Inspira Medical Center.

Amy B. Mansue, President and CEO of Inspira Health, stated: "We are thrilled to reach this pivotal point in this project and exceptionally grateful to those who have helped with its construction." She emphasized that the expansion reaffirms Inspira's commitment to addressing healthcare needs in South Jersey communities.

The $240 million investment not only advances healthcare capabilities but also contributes economically by creating 500 construction jobs and over 100 permanent positions upon completion. The new wing is expected to be operational by early 2027.

Warren E. Moore, Executive Vice President and COO of Inspira Health, noted: "The placing of the final steel beam for this expansion demonstrates our determination to meet the region’s ongoing demand for health care resources." He highlighted that current occupancy rates range from 87% to 93%, indicating growing community needs.

The topping-off event was attended by elected officials, organizational leaders, clinicians, and construction partners.
